Then went to Sky .......his knees were shot at in the end - a great no 9 in his youth- He learnt Sharpy a hell of a lot......

Getting tired here got mixed up Andy started off at Wolves of course ...... he knew he was getting transferred to Villa when HK drove up to his new house mid season - he told his wife to stop unpacking before HK entered.....as history came true he was spot on as he was told a certain Gary Lineker was arriving ...... He did not want to fall further down the pecking order as a substitute so the deal was done.....

Bit overblown all that imo. I'm far from sexist.(Gray was wrong).....but sky were looking for an excuse to get rid. And Gray gave them that excuse. Even though it was an apparent private conversation.........or so he thought. Not defending Gray( but maybe a warning would have calmed him down)....
....And didn't Garragher once spit on someone........And he's still there.....
Gray was wrong. I know that. But sky wanted rid imo. And they got their opportunity. Wonder if they would get rid now of the idiot presenters that they now employ, if similar happened?

I think it wasnt just a one-off incident that caused Andy Gray and Keys to be sacked. They just took things too far with young production staff for anyone let alone middle aged professional broadcasters and tied their own nooses in the end.
