Goodison Park covered in snow in 1955-Match between Bury and Stoke City. the year I was born .has to be a cup game maybe a semi final or a replay ?

The diagram would be from our club as the players & supporters built the Ground themselves - it was an athletics track originally owned by John holding our other grounds became too small for the fans we attracted - Brewery Magnet got greedy tripling the rent after a short stay season with big attendances - not happy with all his perks of beer food etc in the Sandon hotel - the Everton Board Dr Baxter offered an interest free loan after a meeting in Liverpool Library in an EGM decided to buy Mere disused market Garden on Goodison road - the rest is history-
Holding would not back down, and the devils club was born.....
We developed a stadia the best in the country Goodison park -.......
Loved your line: The Devils Club was born!
Law- Bally - Besty - all showing off their latest Christmas annuals -

Christ. Weren't we lucky to watch these players every week, also Arsenal, Leeds, Chelsea & Spurs and
they all had a handful of marvellous players, there was only one team at the time that played boring
football out of the top 7, yeah you're right RS. RS won the league in the 60s with 14 players used in
42 league games. Shankley got them to play the away games for a point (Ale-house football), boot
the ball in the crowd without tackling, the big hoof up the front from the defence........the headless
chickens chasing (Hunt & the Monkey) much like these days attacking.
