Old Everton Pictures

.....I use the phrase 'world class' very sparingly but Ray Wilson is one of very few I have seen playing for Everton who is truly in that category.
At home in Huddersfield with his son.

.....love that last picture of Ball with his dad, Alan Ball snr. Ball idolised his dad. I met him at Everton supporters club the night we won the league in 1970. Ball snr got his sons winners medal from his pocket and let me touch it which was a great thrill for a footy mad 13 year old.

If I remember rightly his dad was killed in a car crash whilst abroad.

Wrong again, Joey!! Gabriel after all.

Double or quits. How about naming the away ground in your picture of Alex Young disputing the ball with the goalkeeper?
Wrong again how dare you at least I got the Jimmy Hill one right!
The photo says Alex Young in action August 1964 its an away ground so my EFC Bible says its Stoke City in August of that year, but its not is it again pictures being written up wrong - so can you throw any light on this to go 2-0 up?
I still maintain Jimmy gabriel lost a lot of hair in that picture!lol
As a guess it looks like West ham?
