The tiny bit I saw...5-8 secs. showed the ball coming into the goal area, Young, I think, heading it back across and down for Vernon...who was not in an offside position...to slot.There's a minute or two of this game caught on tape somewhere. Vernon was a yard onside. Inter players clearly weren't disputing it.
That said Inter were the better side. So difficult to get through their defence (makes Carlo's current tactics look like all out attack).
Probably Young was the candidate for the offside, but when the ball was kicked? Who can tell now.
