Dave Grant on the back row right,like his Dad Jackie,but without the broken nose.Didn't make it at Everton and ended up at Wrexham,Bangor and finally Sth Liverpool.

....I think that's the FA Youth cup winning side that I watched. I can vividly remember a young Jimmy Husband in that team. Geoff Barnett in goal. The bloke in the centre front looks like the same one in the first team photo from 1964.
 


My little bible tells me he scored in a 4-3 defeat at Goodison Park against Burnley
Yours is correct of course and I should learn not to speed read,and if I'd bothered to look at the attendance 54,409 that was a big clue.Funny season that,I remember we beat Utd 4-0 in the Charity Shield lost 5-1 away in the league and then won 4-0 in the Goodison game.Looking at the other results we scored a lot of goals but shipped a lot too that season.6 at Arsenal, 4 at West Ham, 4 at West Brom ,and 4 at home to Blackburn although the fume was confined to cushion throwing and the pub afterwards those days

I seen a lot of that team play at Goodison in the youth cup my older brother took me nighttime games we may have missed the final as maybe he was working nights doh - they played great football - on night the busses went on strike got home dead late My late mother went mad as I had school and I was only a young kid!

My older brother reckons its Roy Parnell a full back played 3 games from Birkenhead a local lad who almost made it in that picture on the kilmarnock photo programme cant find a picture of him though?
