I struggle to think of a more underrated player than him in my time watching us.

I can think possibly of one other who was under the radar in my mind and that was Alan Harper.
Moggsy was a fantastic player for us but for some unfathomable reason, it was only after he'd left us that I realised exactly how pivotal he was for us. By that I mean he was our protector.…we had an interesting thread on this some time ago. Harper was a fine utility player, not as talented as Kevin Richardson who went on to real success when he left.
Personally, I’m more inclined to consider regular starters. John Hurst and Paul Bracewell are terrific nominees &/I’d include Johnny Morrissey in the same category.
