Gary was one of my early heroes,
IIRC when he got subbed by Gordon Lee and applauded Lee, never played again after that, I may be wrong of course, I'm ancient and one of those 50 plussers who got a Bracewell Haircut @Dario Terracotta but then I also got the perm at the back job ala "Inchy" later on!
That was a massive mistake as my now bald head would testify!

lol lol lol You may be right Dixie although I always thought Bingham was manager, as a young kid I thought it was amusing as Gary was subbed and flicked the v's at the boss,I think you are spot on he never played again for us after that!!

It was Big Bob Latchford, Andy is our King, and Duncan SuperMackenzie early on, but as a teenager Graeme Sharp and Paul Bracewell. With Brace he was just the epitome of cool, including the hair cuts!
