Im sure that's 'David's', the barbers that was at the bottom of Prescot Street opposite the Royal. It was where a lot of the footballers in the 60s/70s used to go. I think that's the RS's Bobby Graham in the chair next to Alan.

Yes got beat 4-3 by a top team Bolton 4-3 in the semi final -we missed a pen too - we won that Villa game 1-0;)
Iirc from what my dad said we were 4-0 down when we missed the pen just before half time so it did not seem so important. But then pulled back three during rest of game and hit woodwork a few times in trying to force an equaliser.
Just checked. Tommy Clinton missed the pen 44 mins. I think his daughter used to work in the ticket office for years...Maureen?
