.....I'm on record as saying Stones is the best, Joey but I suppose time will be the judge of that. What is for certain is that Labone was a brilliant CB and truly great Evertonian. My favourite picture of Labone is the one of him of him walking alone on Goodison Rd during the final stages of the relegation decider against Coventry. The club meant that much to him that the tension got to him just the same as it got to us.

Funny you mention that, I came onto this thread specifically to look for this picture. Has anyone got it? I think it was in the Echo a day or two after the Coventry game but I've never seen it since.
