I went to the first and third. Arrived at Euston and it was just starting to snow. By the time I got to White Hart Lane it was a blizzard and the game was called off. The second game was abandoned due to floodlight failure. The third game was close to being called off before it started due to heavy rain but a brilliantly entertaining pitch inspection involving referee Roger Kirkpatrick and his linesmen playing a mock game on the pitch resulted in a game won by Alan Whittle.
It was iced over including underneath .....
