I cried when that went in ,remember some old fella saying that was the most emotional game he's been tooThat is what it feels like to score a last minute of extra time winner in an FA cup semi final!!!
One of my favorite moments as an Everton fan. I went absolutely nuts when Inchy scored this goal. One of my favorite goals from my favorite Everton player ever.
My dad and the soon to be Madame Allezlesbleus were there while I was stranded agonising out of radio contact in the middle of the French countryside. Did not know score until about 9pm.I cried when that went in ,remember some old fella saying that was the most emotional game he's been too
There's a small handling charge, plus p@p. Cash only,100 quid in used fivers - further instructions to follow. And to honor that, I just changed my avatar
Was at the game when this happened, diabolical tackle from Brian Marwood! Ten minutes later Peter Reid "sorted" Mr Marwood out if I remember rightly!Injured or not Inchy heath seems to be enjoying himself getting plastered! -
There was one game at Hillsborough in that run , when we seemed to play them all the time in the cup,ect and it was one of the dirtiest games i have been at, both teams were at it, then Reid and co went up a level kicked them all over the park, some fine tackles. Was at the game when this happened, diabolical tackle from Brian Marwood! Remember it well. Other than losing to United in the FA Cup final - the lowest point of an otherwise fantastic season. So sad.

IIRC there was film of the tackle taken from the club's in house camera in the main stand that was shown on the news. Not for the faint hearted, it was a terrible challenge.....the irony is that I think Marwood went on to have a role with the PFA.
