My older brother went out into his garden disgusted - hes wathed them since 1958 -

I was transfixed watching rubbish. My health not great ATM so gardening not an option.

At least Dublin hurlers and footballers won. However the footballers' next match is a a do or die v Monaghan. Lose and we are relegated.

The hurlers are keeping a bit of a smile on my face

The last of the Corinthians. I will never forget meeting him, how polite he was, and so helpful as a front of house official.

He was one of our greatest captains, even though I loved Peter Farrell so much. Probably no need to compare, as they were true Evertonians to their fingertips

I was devastated when he died.
