David Esser was an England Schoolboy international from Stockport who I played against a number of times (he couldn’t stop me scoring a few at Edgeley Park, Stockport County). i played a bit of representative football alongside Michael O’Halloran, he was a terrific player.

Did you ever come across a lad at United Craig Lawton ? I saw him play non league as he had a double leg break & no club could insure him he was brilliant, he was in the team in Bold above ? I think he was from Deeside area?
