Some decent players there. Peter Knowles seemed to be set for the very top and gave it away to pursue his religion.
I remember Morrissey putting the 'very hard word' on him at a Cup game at Molyeaux, it barely rated a finger wagging... Knowles 'retired' soon after - Moggsy may have tipped the balance...allegedly
