Everton fans on top of the Littlewoods clock to see Everton clinch the League Division One Championship on bank holiday Monday May 1985. This image has been chosen for the "Wondrous Place" exhibit in the new Museum of Liverpool - The clock we threw it away - Everton that moment - doh -

I remember reading somewhere that a guy from the Anfield area rescued that clock from a skip and had it in his back yard for a while, saw a photo either in the everton magazine or the echo a few years back.

Everton left-back focus: Neil Pointon.
Joining EFC in 1985 Neil was thrown straight into the team. He then helped the Toffees to the 86/87 title. Not always first choice due to Pat VDH, Paul Power etc. but a dependable squad member. Moved to MCFC in part-ex with Andy Hinchcliffe
