I might be mistaken but Im sure Hutchinson was one of the first players to take really long throw ins into the box. I agree, cracking side that was...and hard knocks at the back as well...McCreadie, Chopper Harris and Webb.forever, as it happened.
119 games, 44 goals for Chelsea, retired injured at 27, died much too early at 54 - sad that. They had some crackin players then; Hutchinson, Osgood, Hudson, Charlie Cooke, Housman and that's just the MF & Forwards...any of them would've graced our team...don't know who I'd drop though.
I had a lot of time for that Chelsea team.
