119 games, 44 goals for Chelsea, retired injured at 27, died much too early at 54 - sad that. They had some crackin players then; Hutchinson, Osgood, Hudson, Charlie Cooke, Housman and that's just the MF & Forwards...any of them would've graced our team...don't know who I'd drop though.


I had a lot of time for that Chelsea team.

I might be mistaken but Im sure Hutchinson was one of the first players to take really long throw ins into the box. I agree, cracking side that was...and hard knocks at the back as well...McCreadie, Chopper Harris and Webb.
