Here's the game for you see if you can spot him on the wing?I don't suppose you know the Everton players in the photo?
I was at school with the son of George Cummins who played for us that day.
Brilliant mate thanks very much. Everton results has his name 8th on the team sheet so I am guessing that is him. Certainly looks like him form my memory of when he came to see us play on Sunday mornings or the occasional school match. He had two lads both good players although neither became a pro. George was longer at Luton than Everton. Here's the game for you see if you can spot him on the wing?

6 - Lello
7 - Buckle
8 - Cummings
9 - Hickson
10 - Parker
11 - Eglington
Well in mate on that, just looked at the same book and was about to post it.....
Funnily enough Allez on the previous page of the the book it is in as Cummins G.
I take it as you mean him?
Thanks mate.
Out of interest do they put a g in his name because I am pretty certain that is a mistake.
The error is on the 1952-53 page.On the 1952-53 page it is given as 'Cummings G'. (19 league appearances, 5 Cup)
On the 1951-52 page it is given as 'Cummins G'. (5 league appearances)
Doesn't appear for 1953-54 season.
So between those two pages, there is a spelling mistake on the surname.
Yes and he went!lolOld blue2 that must of been the year when he didn't know if he was Cummings or Going...
I,ll get me coat.....
