1984 - Stoke City 0-2 Everton. One of the key EFC matches at the start of 1984 saw the Blues defeat Stoke at the Victoria Ground in the FA Cup 3rd Round. Howard Kendall famously opened the EFC dressing room window & said ‘win it for the fans’. Gray & Irvine scored for EFC.
1990 - Middlesbrough 0-0 Everton. A goalless draw at Ayresome Park in a FA Cup 3rd Round tie, in what would become a trilogy of FA Cup 3rd Round matches that season vs Middlesbrough.
