Gary Jones.Gary first broke through to the EFC team in April 1971. A huge talent who could light up Goodison, but, by his own admission, Gary was mercurial. After 98 EFC appearances, he joined Birmingham City, linking up again with Howard Kendall.
Alex Scott. Signed from Rangers mid-way through the 1962/63 season, this direct winger won league and cup honors at EFC. Dubbed Chico by supporters, he ended his playing career at Falkirk FC
Billy Bingham (1931-2022).Signed from Luton Town in 1960, the Irishman made league 23 appearances, scoring 5 goals, in the title-winning 1962/63 season. Billy lost his place to Alex Scott & left EFC in 1963. He was back a decade later - as manager.
Mickey Lill (1936-2004).The Essex man joined the Toffees from Wolves early in 1960. Originally played on the right wing, he also covered on the left when required. Knee problems hampered his time on. Merseyside. He later settled in South Africa.
Jimmy Harris.Although he started as a centre-forward, Jimmy probably made most of his 207 EFC appearances (72 goals) on the wing due to his fantastic pace & the return of Dave Hickson. A Goodison Park regular as a supporter until his final years.
Brian Harris.A winger who was transformed into an excellent wing-half. The Birkenhead man had over a decade as a Toffeeman & was a league champion in 1963 & a cup winner in 1966.
