Maybe I’m just an old romantic but going to games in those days was just so much better... higsons brown over bitter and a meat and potato pie...simple things but somehow better

Didn't we have an Everton lager once in the late eighties? Sure we used to sell this in the ground and have advertising of it on the boards above the chubby holes masquerading as Executive Boxes - in fairness the sub at the time was probably swilling it on the bench. Probably an upgrade on Chang though - perhaps not. Not sure I had the pleasure of that particular offering from the club. Sure others did though
