…I wonder how long the tram journey’s were in comparison with bus trips today. I presume they went slower but they only had to stop to let passengers on and off.
All the rage now - they go a lot slower as I was advised to go to see Blackpool lights going upstairs on a tram - I must say a far better view than by car, or a coach ride through the lights went further on too - simply closed the road & in a few minutes headed back on the other side of the lights back to where our car was parked by the fairground - so one they ran more on time & 2 a more timely journey imo ....
