That air raid tunnel on Bidston Hill is still there to this day, along with many others like under the Littlewoods building on Edge Lane.

My Grandparents lived directly down the hill from Grange Hill, but we used to do Bidston and Thurstaston Hills as well! Then Hilbre Island depending on the weather and the time of the tide! Happy days!
