….yep, I’m sure it’s the junction with St Domingo Road. Tommy Whites would eventually go up further up the hill on the left of the pic. It’s a great pic, not seen it before.
Yep the tower Gardens were fantastic too I have a reproduction book somewhere of its history - the ballroom etc was for the elite when built .... then top pop groups featured there in the 1960s -
Hanson's dairy. Church Road. Aigburth 1902.- did this company grow & have milk dairies in most places ?
….some of my closest friends live or lived on the ‘Boot Estate’ in Norris Green;
We used to get our milk off them, seems like they had dozens of those electric milk carts
Edit: there's was a TIZER bottling factory up that Road in the 50s and 60s too

The photograph surely can't be reversed as the writing on the pub is correct.
