Taken from Gateacre Comprehensive School and looking across Chidwall Valley to Belle Vale Shopping Centre. The line of trees nearer is the defunct Cheshire Lines railway embankment, now part of the Trans-Pennine Trail - I almost purchased my first house in this area not far from where I worked ...

Did you have to pay in the tunnels those days mate.
Yes it was only supposed to be for 12 months ....unless that's what they said about the hew turnout I think its been payable from the start both of the tunnels

They DO have a guy/girl who collects the money/card Joey.
But I have that Trafficflow thingy which is much easier, just put money in the account and it works on number plates.
