Yep seen them too also Lyn Paul and a few others was a good place to go, petty places like that are few and far between.

….amazing to think the likes of Stevie Wonder was doing small venues in Liverpool in the early ‘70s.

….amazing to think the likes of Stevie Wonder was doing small venues in Liverpool in the early ‘70s.

He was no longer the 'Little Stevie Wonder' of the early 60s and had fallen somewhat out of fashion.
There we a few who hit that 70s wall only to be 'discovered' again in the 80s Tom Petty was one, I saw him do a show at radio Merseyside for 150, iirc, Spencer Leigh was the MC.
