This is from like 72/73. My mum and aunty are in this, as they grew up in Newenham Crescent.
This picture was shown to my brother by Colin Harvey as he grew up on the same street.
I understand it's celebrating them lot but I still like it.
Gone - Longview Drive Huyton - served that awful brew Ten bitter - I then lived not far away from this pub -

You missed nothing, the Bitter was awful - Brew Ten only went in once myself & it was closer than my other local ....….had a bit of a reputation that boozer, Joey, can’t remember ever going in it.
I'm messed up timeline-wise. He'd have been 28 by 72. I'm 90% sure I was told as a kid his parents lived there, and my child brain filed it as the family home. Maybe they moved after he grew up. I'll check into it.…I always thought Colin Harvey was from Fazakerley?
