….yep, Red Triangle was on Everton Rd and that building on the right was originally a barracks. I most certainly remember Quarless, he was a big unit.
I used to go there on a Friday afternoon with a class from the Friary school, aka as Netherfield Road RC.….Margaret St baths, weirdly as I post I can recall the smell of chlorine and the heat in that place. Happy memories;

Worked the bottom two areas: first is Picton Road, Wellington Road and Rathbone Road junction; the bottom is St Mary's in Garston, near the old hotel.

Funny how these old buildings spontaneously combust.The Garston Hotel was burnt down in questionable circumstances probably about 15 or more years ago.
Or nearest the wall.It looks like a toss school is going on early in the film on Brunswick Road, very popular after time was called in the pubs. A toss school was about gambling with two pennies being tossed in the air and people betting on heads or tails, heads being the winner. In the Bullring, off Pembroke Place, they used three coins so there was a result every time the coins were tossed.
We use to go there also from cardinal Godfrey on breckfield road south.I used to go there on a Friday afternoon with a class from the Friary school, aka as Netherfield Road RC.
I used to go to the Cardinal Godfrey building when it was De La Salle but we never used Margaret St. baths, we used to go to St. Michael’s church on West Derby Road once a month but don’t remember the reason why we went, I think it had to do with some Saint.We use to go there also from cardinal Godfrey on breckfield road south.
We had to walk there past the Ogdens factory
