Don’t know when that was taken, but there cannot be many roads from back in the day that are instantly recognisable today as that pic. Take the tram lines away and it’s no different from today.

When Virgin Records were in St.John’s in the late ‘70’s they didn’t have booths, you stood at the end of the counter with a pair of headphones on.

The smaller outlets still had them - my mate listened to Chirpy Chirpy Cheep & purchased it -

I told my late mother who was half listening, & said I did not know he had a Budgie lol she thought it was a brand of bird food lol -

amazing how vinyl records are back in now in LPs - they say things go around in circles - trams have returned in major cities etc - Liverpool got kicked back for funds

Coronation Pub, Childwall Valley Road -I used to go in the summer with my mate for a quick pint & sandwich - a gang burst in chains flick knives etc bar stools threw at the optics shat it & ran back to work lol I took my pint with me - police everywhere as I was legging it back supping my pint -​
