Long game, it is an incredibly important move, Old Trafford becomes the biggest capacity football ground in the country. Wembley takes yet another step down.

arsenal have plans drawn up already to expand the Emirates to 100,000. It was part of teh design.

i would imagine that as soon as they pay their debt off, that will happen. They have 40,000 fans on the season ticket waiting list

Yeah but they have hangers on like that lot over the road from Oslo, Anyone can say they are on the waiting list, and when the club says such things it is usually to drum up business and increase the aura of exclusivity surrounding 'going the game'.
