Sandro is an ambitious and determined player. I've said before , I doubt he'd come here to play anything but centre forward, which is what he is. Hence the no9 shirt. Likewise Rooney's here to play as first choice. Whichever striker we sign will be an option not a starter.

I was in the Arsenal 'active' support at the Sydney FC v Arsenal game last night (which was essentially an area they just tweeted and screamed about Tottenham for 90 minutes) and watching Giroud gallop around got me excited at the thought of seeing him in blue.

A couple of players wandered over including Giroud during their warm up to sign autographs and they all sang the Giroud song and he gave them nothing. One of the arse fans asked if he was leaving and he said "We'll see".
