My fears about Holgate as a CB because he gets exposed aerially are realised with the 3rd goal. Lennon runs around a lot but provides no quality at either end of the pitch. They had footballers.

The big concern is that no matter who plays, no matter where they play the outcome is the same. Some don’t think we are a relegation team, i’m afraid there’s little to suggest we’re not.

Trust me, I'm not one. We completely look like relegation fodder. So bad in fact I'm not even sure Sam Allardyce could work his miracles on us.

DCL's due a goal. He's in a bit of a drought at the moment and I appreciate his record for the Sheffield under 18s was about 1 goal per 7 games, but he seems a nice lad so fits Everton perfectly. He 'gets us' I think, and that is more important than football skills/ scoring goals

We've been rubbish plenty of times in my time watching us. As bad and worse than this. The difference is this run of crapness is going on a bit longer than usual, which is understandable when your board boot out a manager without having a backup plan. We still won't be getting relegated though.

PICKFORD gets a walk-over too often - he shouldn't.

WILLIAMS is appalling and UNSWORTH playing him - let alone making him captain - was a poor, poor decision.

But poor decisions seem the order of the day today.

If you think we're not in a relegation fight then you're sorely mistaken.

Genuinely feel we're in real danger of the drop should it not improve really, really quickly.

And I just don't see that happening at the minute.
