Welcome back Wayne
Going on about the price of tickets and showed Everton and our shiney CEO. While the BBC said that we have kept the price of season tickets the same, Bobby Elstone started to defend the price of tickets instead of attacking everybody else's. He should have said it's a disgrace, that we are keeping prices down and that teams like the RS are ruining football....come on lads you need to raise you game here.......

More interested in the 'brand'.

Having lived in Germany for a few months it does my head in when English football promotes how low it's prices are. It's a load of bull. Most expensive season ticket in Germany is about £270, cheapest is about £95. Aswell as the league in general (apart from the title race) they do everything better than England do in football terms. Better atmosphere from safe standing and cheaper prices mean students are able to go, makes for more enthusiastic fans in terms of general atmosphere.

Ticket prices at Goodison have become ridiculous in recent years, up until 2013 our prices were quite fair. However I really don't think Everton are any different from the other clubs, when it comes to exploiting fans. Charging £25 for a pre season friendly against Porto. Plus we charge away fans the same price as Arsenal for an obstructed view, a wooden seat and in a decaying ground. We allow fans to tout their season tickets for extortionate amounts, something that you can arrested for on the street. I personally disagree with the policy of cheap season tickets for under 11s, personally I would simply try and make it more affordable for all fans regardless of age. Most of the under 11s pay no attention to the game, plus how they can afford to go when their older when tickets are so expensive. Kids nowadays have been brought up being able to watch 4 games on TV every weekend, they can watch every single game on the computer or go with their dad to the pub and watch it. Personally I think fan culture will die in about 10 years, as the way ticket prices are going nowadays it will be impossible to younger fans to afford to go the game.

I can't afford to go the game regularly.

It's painful, but I can't expect them to make it more affordable when GP is selling out very regularly.

If I was a Kopite though, I'd make it like once every two years, mad their pricing.
