One year since we appointed dyche

The football in the main has been absolutely dire and some of the worst I've had the misfortune of witnessing.

But for where we were when he took over and where we currently are as a club (basically right at the bottom of the pile) he deserves a 7.5 at least for trying to keep it all together using nothing more than a crap roll of cellotape

I think if you ignore the points deduction then we are well ahead of where we were, so he deserves a 7 at least.

My main issue with him is games like Saturday, where we are playing poorly and he doesn't change it. Although, I recognise that when he looks at the bench we have he must be gutted at the state of it.

He'll be gone mid Feb
He won't, unless he is the one that cuts the chord. First off the club won't want to have the added expense of a payout plus a new managers wages.

It isn't to say they style of football is brilliant but with a pretty limited squad, key players of which have had inconsistent form to accrue the points we have (ignoring penalties for a sec) he has played the cards he has. Start of the season most on here tipped us for a relegation scrap and not knowing what was to come he has gotten results. The old adage of win first look good second.

The 8’s show how most have fallen as a fan base from an expectation point of view and that dyche is the best we can do. Kenwright will be punching the air

Probably not a manager that Everton FC would have ever considered hiring. However, giving the mess the club were, and currently in, this is what the hierarchy have left us with.

However, he has done well, considering what is going on off the pitch. Probably the best fit for both parties at the time. We needed a man to just worry about the football team and get results. He knows that he probably wont manager a "top" club but knows Everton is a big club on his CV.

Hopefully the mess off the pitch sorts itself out and he stabilises us whilst all this is going on.

B+ from me.

9 for sure. Drops a point for not saying that the board are a shambles and 100% to blame for our current predicament. I guess his hands are tied on that one....
