First track off Let it Bleed.



First track off Sticky Fingers.

They’re milking it now but they were fantastic in their prime. Gimme Shelter has probably one of the best beginnings to a track of all time and instantly puts me in a Scorsese film.
 


This will probably bore the hell outta some folks (both story and song). I was way into Heatmiser/Elliott Smith back in the mid 90's. Still am who am I kidding. I especially connected with Smith's solo work. Kept hearing about this fella named Nick Drake who influenced him along with many others. Bought Five Leaves Left without ever hearing a single note. Connected immediately with a record that was nearly 30 years old.



I wish they would remaster some of his songs and get rid of what seems like unnecessary stuff. Like the steel guitar in this one.

That is all to personal taste my friend. I used to think 'Useless' was the best track in the album, now I'm not sure. I consider both to be better than 'It's no good'.
