I always liked "Breaking into Heaven"
The Stone Roses "Second Coming"

and the "XX" "Intro"

Ha. Saw the title of this thread and the first thing I thought of was Breaking Into Heaven! 3 or 4 minutes of jungle / rainforest sound effects before guitar excellence

I've actually found with a lot of albums that the last song is actually the best. So much so I made a 'last song of the album, album'.

Idlewild - The Remote Part, What if You Held The World in Your Arms.

Criminally underrated band and one of my favourites growing up, 100 Broken Windows and The Remote Part are both excellent albums.

I am a huge Tool fan, so I think pretty much everything they have done is great. I prefer 46&2, Lateralus and Rosetta Stoned to Aenima. Stinkfist has my favorite segment of music ever in it as well.

Can’t really go wrong. I will always have a special place in my heart for the lyrics in that song though.

They remind me of Porcupine Tree in that their discography is solid throughout. Most bands have a few zillion duds and a couple gooduns. Consistent band
