Confirmed Signing Orel Mangala

Been calling for another CM for the last month so happy with this.

Genuinely thought this guy was still at Forest, didn't realise they sold him to Lyon in January. So in/out at Forest and only been six months at Lyon and now they want to move him out on loan.

At least there's more depth in the CM area as to me this is the Onana replacement.

It's not a strange one.

Andre Gomes left in the summer after featuring fairly regularly from December. With Onana gone the two have started the season with Gana + Tim so with Garner out in effective those are the only two CMs at the club.

Gana at his age will miss games with knocks. Good that Garner is fit again but you get the feeling he'll be playing some games at RB this season given how bad the options there are so you're still short in that area. Just moving Doucoure back into the pivot shouldn't be accepted either.

Another CM is needed, maybe not for right now but certainly the winter period when injuries/suspensions will hit.

John Textor involved with them isn't he? So probably a case of they signed him, stayed up, signed some more and rather than just have him warming the bench go to a club where he'll play more regularly and help a club Textor wants as future purchase stay up aswell.
