Yeah it's a lot but it's all relative isn't it.

The only monthly outgoing I really have, other than mortgage and energy bills is my £8 phone contact.

No sky/TV add ons, no betting, no car leases etc, no gym membership

Car insurance and some magazine subscriptions I pay yearly

I could have 700 TV channels, an expensive SUV and go to David Lloyd but none of that really interests me
 

My dad started an organic wine import company in the 80’s. I was about 13 and we toured various organic vineyards in the Bordeaux region, staying and eating with our hosts. Was an amazing time

Sadly he didn’t continue the business as it was just not well received back then. Kudus to him for having the foresight though

If you generally want to learn more, you could think about doing the WSET level 2 qualification - only a week long but you'll taste about 80 different wines in that time and learn a fair bit about how to identify what you like and don't like and WHY.

Yea that's a decent comparison, although it is so vast as there isn't much regulation on them, some taste a lot more 'normal' than others
