I don't believe that burglary is an automatic death sentence like some do, so even if she was a robber that shouldn't have been shoot-now-ask-questions-later situation.

I personally think burglary should have an automatic death penalty and anybody that ever got caught doing it in my house would get that punishment.

Someone breaks in my house and I'll do anything to protect my family, if it means risking the burglars life then so be it.

At the end of the day it's hard to know what weapons they are carrying and what their intentions are.
