raises interesting questions about judge vs jury verdicts, would a jury be less bound by the need for undeniable evidence that it was premeditated murder. I have no clue which system is better, would be interesting to see some stats on wrongful convictions etc

I have no stats or evidence, but I would be astonished if no judge has had to sentence what he thought was an innocent man because of a jury decision. And the other way round.

If that makes sense. The judge thinks the jury got it wrong basically.

Surprised some people don't think it was murder to be honest. If he thought someone was in his house he would first shout her name or at least check if she was next to him in bed and then she would have replied saying it was her in the bathroom. No way you would just start firing bullets through a door. Everyone has an opinion though but for me he has got away with one here
