Finally, Cover for Gabriel, poor lad's played every single game this year.

Polish lad looks mint, wand of a left foot, left sided CB's are like Gold-dust, very happy with this.

Still after a CM / RB also, Edu is cooking.

“ If your looking for a Right Back,
We‘ve got a Glaswegian
Nathan Patterson.”

If you talk with Davek he’ll take him down to London for you, free of charge.

The Trossard fella will derail your whole season.
I don't think he will to be fair mate, He'll get adequate game time, he's quality rotation and Arteta has probably explained to him don't expect instant game time ahead of Martinelli.

If his attitude is such a turn off, I'd of assumed Mikel would've walked away but he seems like he's seriously invested.

Time will tell!

If clubs and players are happy to sign long term contracts im not sure what its got to do with them. Ive seen a good few 5.5 and 6 year contracts, so whays the difference?

All these rules are pointless anyway, so scrap them.

Well imagine if someone signed a 15-year deal. The club, the player, the fans & the rest of us know they don’t actually want them for that long it’s just to help the finances.

But if the club and player are happy to take that risk then thats on them.

The financial rules are not fair anyway, clubs finding loopholes, the established big clubs still being able to spend £££ to stay at the top. Underhanded deals, over inflated sponsorships. Just bin then or bring fairer rules in.

But it isn’t a risk to the club or the player that’s the point.

It is. You sign a player on big wages for 7/8 years then its a huge financial commitment. Likewise with the player being stuck, but possibly thinking of security. Both parties have to agree.

Kane signed a 6yr deal
The Arsenal and Bournemouth lads signed recently were 5.5yrs
Joao Felix signed a 7 year deal with Atletico.

My point is the rule, if in place has already been bent and broken so how can they go after Chelsea?

Fee is reportedly 21m plus 6m in bonuses. Brighton triggered an 12 month extension so he had essentially 18 months left on his deal. So it's hardly a fortune for a premier league proven player. Seems better value than the 90m+ they offered for that Ukrainian lad who only has about 60 games to his credit and may or may not turn out to be decent.

Think Arteta will be able to handle him as he's already dealt with Ozil, Aubameyang and Guendouzi.
Arteta handled Ozil, Aubaneyang, and Guendouzi by freezing them out of the first team and then getting them out of Arsenal FC. Hardly a ringing endorsement of his ability to handle Trossard considering they just paid over 20m for him.
