Reckon Klopp's going to spend the next 18months doing a 'return to sender job' for all the average dross that gnashers and KKKenny amassed

Wonder what Southampton's returns policy is like.
 

@LinekersLegs i think Lennon was signed as Martinez didnt know how long it would take Deulofeu to adjust. He's an ok backup but will never be more than that for us and isnt a "dangerman".

Personally i'd sell McGeady, Lennon, Mirallas and Pienaars contract is up in the summer.

i think we need to aim higher than these types and need someone of the quality of Yarmolenko on LW who can alternate with Deulofeu during games. I'd also look at either a foreigner such as Inaki Williams or an English player like Duncan Watmore.

We then have Deulofeu,Yarmolenko and Inaki/Watmore with Cleverley as the utility player + if needed someone like Dowell to come in and get minutes -- the average age of the wide players would be very low and they are all top quality.

I liked the Man Utd sides with Giggs,Sharpe,Kanchelskis etc as Ferguson could swap them around and any subs would have a new threat to the opposition full backs. I think we need 3 top class wingers and currently have only 1 (mirallas i think isnt as good as deulofeu and seems to be on his way if a good offer comes in).

Newcastle bidding £14mil for townsend would be stupid when £7mil could probably get lennon and £10-12mil could get Mirallas....two superior players.

West Ham want Sturridge for 18 million. Jesus I'd jump at that if I were Liverpool. Great player when fit, but I think there is something chronic about his "illness."
 
No one should pay 14 million for townsend, that is silly desperate move by Newcastle. Spurs don't want him. He stuck in the reserves, he been in trouble for fighting among staff. They want him out. Just sit tight and wait for Spurs to drop the price. You could get an excellent player from another league for 14 million .
