Will be a another very good signing for them if it goes through. He was a very good player at Atletico but it just hasn't worked out for him at Fiorentina. How many players have moved from La Liga to Serie A in recent years and completely flopped, it feel like quite a-lot!

I really liked his quote about palace, too.

It's just the image of him pouring over a wikipedia page of palace reading about their run to the fa cup final in 1990 and going 'hmm, interesting'.
