Barcelona have bid €80million (£72m) for Liverpool's Brazil midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool agreed a new deal until 2022 with the 25-year-old playmaker last season and are expected to reject the offer, feeling it falls short of the player's true value in the current market.

That is unlikely to deter Barcelona, who have identified Coutinho as the replacement for Andres Iniesta, who is 33 and in the last year of what is beginning to look like his final contract at the Nou Camp.

Of course he's serious
Geri plays in la Liga
Couthino in the English premier league
2 totally separate and different leagues

Chicharito is probably a good signing for the 'ammers given the muck they usually have up front (Carroll the exception on the 3 days a year he's fit) but not really arsed about the other two. I think Hart is well on the decline and Arnautovic is good but £25m good? Debatable. They'll still miss Payet and will still have Snodgrass and his wages getting in the way

would be nice if they stopped beating us at Selhurst every effing season, having them as a bogey team is depressing

I don't think he is a good signing tbh. I'm not saying he is a bad player but he relies heavily on other players providing for him, kind of like lukaku, and West Ham won't give him that.

I have no idea how Hammers are getting excited over this.

Wolves signing another Mendes client. Scary that their owner is worth £4 billion that's more than Double Moshiri.

Hopefully we get a takeover after the stadium move as to realistically challenge for the title you need a filthy rich owner when you have perennial championship sides like Wolves with owners wealthier than us.
