That won't happen. Griezman is not as predatory as Costa,Falcao is a busted flush and Remy does not lead the line for a team that wins the champions league and premier league.

If Costa scores that many goals in the premier league in his first season,whilst being unhappy,then I'd hate to see him happy.

I foresee a compromise of "give us one more season together,let's win the champions league" and then the dodgy Russian will grant him any move he wants.
 
Well, in Costa's defense Atletico has typically been a selling club and now under new ownership their outlook is not nearly the same in terms of budget & wages...Plus, I suspect he's discovered that the grass is not always greener when you had it pretty good already

On the flip side, I'm sure Simeone would love getting him back over Mandžukić who has been an unmitigated disaster

I think most people could have told Atletico that the Mandzukic deal was a dud. Anyone who watched him at Bayern knew in no way would he make up for the loss of Costa. He's an immobile target man.

I can see Simeone going for his countryman in Higuain and that awful penalty miss on Sunday should help knock a few million of the price tag.

Wtf is going on with Lukaku, him and his agent Raiola giving out of order interviews. Sounds like he's been tapped up.
