Other Clubs Summer Transfer Window 2020

Plan would probably be to use him like Chicharito. Plan A is the usual suspects, and when that doesn't work he's Plan B.

United has more links than they can probably afford, though shifting Sanchez's albatross of a contract would do a lot of work on the wage front.

The Schmeichel to United rumor is interesting - one wonders how they plan to move on from de Gea, or if they intend to just eat the remaining two years on the contract.

Would be a stupid move for him imo, guaranteed starter at a team no worse than united. Its only peeks which saw them even finish about wolves. They went through a purple patch near the end of the season.

Thought they looked a decent side at goodison, especially in the first half. They lacked a goal threat though, but the continued emergence of Greenwood and the signing of Sancho would address that. If they bought a top centre half (Koulibaly) and recalled Henderson from sheff Utd. They would post serious questions next year.
Question becomes the manager. City and the RS have great players no doubt but they can get close to 100 points because of Pep and Klopp's systems. I'm far from convinced Solsjkaer or Lampard at Chelsea are going to make that step.

Chelsea just smashing through the transfers so early and without the need to offload players.

Keep up the good work Everton.

Just to wrap up all this Chelsea nonsense before anyone else starts it up again.

Net Spend

2018/19: -£122m
2019/20: £101m
2020/21: -£17m

Ziyech deal was agreed in January, Werner was wrapped up fast due to a release clause, they've signed no one else.

They aren't moving any quicker than anyone else and they're not destroying their finances either as they're still expecting future fees for Bakayoko, Zappacosta, Basthuayi, Willian/Pedro wages off the books etc.
