Chatting to my Belgian colleague today and the latest Johnathan David info was he's waiting on the Kane transfer. Juventus, Bayern (if Kane doesn't complete) and another English club iirc Arsenal are keeping tabs.

13k x £30 x 19 home games = 7.4 million pounds.
Oh those ticket prices will have to rise. People are deluded if they think they'll remain at Goodison levels. Frankly, none of this will surprise anybody who has been paying attention. Everton fans have - with some justification - being paying some of the lowest ticket prices in the top flight for years now. But a brand new estadio won't pay for itself. This is all part of the price we'll have to pay to "move forward". On-field standards will have to rise too, mind...

Still. People seem willing to be fleeced these days, cost-of-living crisis or not. I see Coldplay and Taylor Swift concerts in Dublin are all sold out with hotels charging a grand a night for rooms - and filling them. Given Everton's abject decline this century, there seems to be an inverse relationship between on-field performances and attendances. We fill Goodison while fighting relegation. No reason to think we won't fill the new stadium - ticket price rises notwithstanding. It's quite clear that the club will have no compunction with pricing out locals and replacing them with more well-heeled walk-up fans, if needs be. Inevitable in the globalised world of the Premier League.

120 mill for a fella that doesn't score or create. This is worse than when Neuer finished 3rd in the balon dor
Rice and Caicedo over £100mil.

Pundits complaining Rice doesnt score or assist.. Caicedo 1 goal and 1 assist last season. Wonder if they will say the same about him?

Shows where Onanas value could be in a year.

Southampton have already said they want £50m for Lavia. They’ll just end up paying that

Why would be join the RS now? Hes seen that they werent willing to go up £3mil but happy to offer over double for another player.

Surely leaves a sour taste in his mouth.

It's why when people say their model won't last long is complete balls.

They're up £300mill on sales alone. Still scouting with the best in the world for young players - Gonna bring in Kudus for less than £30mill, Dahoud on a free.

You can probably see Gilmour, Buonanotte, Enisco, Ferguson all courting £40+mill in a few years too.

They're set for decades.
Ferguson will probably be their next massive sale.

I believed everton fc had sponked £15mill down the grid for Maupay, so it being 15 million euros, converting to only twelve million quid has made my day. Any further mental gymnastics minimising the fee for Maups will be gladly appreciated.

£12mil incl clauses...think £9mil was the installment number.

Will be world class this lad. Suprised City didnt go for him

Dont see it myself.

Caicedo is a good player but 100m is just insane

that level of money should only be for generational, world class talents in my view

He'll be a top player and probably a poster boy at the world cup with Balogun.
