Is he actually worth it?
He's up there as one of the top players in the world, but........for what comes along with it, the wages, the ego, the agro!

Surely finances can be served better elsewhere? Its not as if PSG have been tearing up the Champions League with him

Not sure anyone's worth it. They'd arguably in a better (or at least not worse) position now if they'd sold him to Real Madrid a couple of years ago.

Its gonna be different in Real (if he goes there), different sort of the club with ruthless winning mentality.
Even Christiano Ronaldo was booed there when he performed bad, they will not tolerate too much drama.

PSG like other oil clubs are just sport washing project for the their state owners, Mbappe was (as global superstar) face of it, him being French playing in biggest French club was also big part of wanting to keep him.

Its all interconnected with high level politics, there is reason why Macron got involved, no doubt same with oil clubs in your country.

I Think that's a pretty good Fee for Xhaka, £21m for a player turning 31 this September.

We we're never going to give him the 4-5 year deal he wanted, so I wish him and his Family all the best in Germany, has been a brilliant servant to us and had one of the best character arcs going.

Rice only cost £85m now!

Guler to Real Madrid? Such a waste.
Same. More crowded midfield than at Barça but RM model doesn’t care about that. If he succeeds he’ll displace others who cost more else they’ll flip him like they have with many past acquisitions

Key for RM was to keep Barça from acquiring him although the midfield is similarly crowded for Xavi. He looks a special talent, time will tell if he made right choice but fees for his signing were exorbitant - a dubiously structured deal reminiscent of Bartomeu/Rosell deal for Neymar
