Before last season, how many of their players would you have said are top 6 players? Guimares and maybe Wilson at a push? I think Barnes will be managed better and asked to do more at Newcastle. Leicester the last 18 months was a mess. He’s plenty capable.
Barnes has been the same all his career, Excellent going forward, awful off the ball. Maybe he can be changed but he is about 25 now and should be a more complete player imo. I wouldn't want him joining my club for a big fee

Haaland and KDB get 20m from City
KDB earns a reported 20m (well closer to 21m) but Haaland is on a reported 28m+. But that does not include money they earn from image rights

Edit: Also, Haaland's and KDB's salaries we are discussing are GBP, and the 40m that Jones earns is USD

Honestly you can pick any number between like 19m and 40m per year for Haaland and find an article to back it up. But none of that actually matters because for it to be a real comparison Danny Ings would have to be on like 30m and we know he isn’t. It’s just a bit odd to me how much less money finds its way to the players.

Sandro Tonali looks like real bundle of joy since joining Newcastle. I guess those rumors he was pushed from AC Milan could be true.
Probably won't end well
Yeah that's going to blow up by Christmas imo, looks a right miserable git, his wife seems more keen on the move.

I remember when I was a kid - I'm sure I knew every player for every club in the league

I'd never even heard of this Manor Solomon - but apparently he played 19 times for Fulham last season
He went on a bit of a hot streak in mid Feb to early March scoring in 5 straight games for them

Spurs are 3rd favourite to get relegated on Betfair. Hoping Solomon will keep us up.

(Maybe just Gooners proving the old adage that a fool and his money are soon parted).
