Stoke have signed Wesley from Villa on a permanent 1 yr contract. Interesting transfer, I assume it was free. 4 years ago he cost us 22m and was a full Brasil international. Had a decent start for Villa, 5 goals in the PL in the first half of the first season as a young lad for his time time in the PL wasn't too bad and then Ben Mee committed close to GBH on him and put him out of the game for 15 months. Apparently got his fitness back, really hope he finds his form again and is a success at Stoke. Seems like a low cost risk for a big target man

Not sure why people would laugh at a club like West Ham signing Maguire. For a club at that level he'd be a good signing. Had his problems at Man U in ETH's system, but in the right team he can still be a very effective defender in both boxes.
