Other clubs Transfer window 2024-2025

That DCL is right to decline a contract offer that most likely offered him a higher wage? That is still the north of the country, higher league position, plays more attacking football.

What reason would a footballer need to refuse that deal and risk the club facing a points deduction?
He can do whatever wants whether you like it or not. Maybe he doesn’t want to live in the North East, maybe his partner doesn’t.

He had an offer, he weighed it up and refused it. You may not like but that’s his decision and not yours or the clubs

Cool, I don't think we will sell actually. That deal was the only option can't see anyone matching £30m valuation. No point selling him for only £20m wouldn't be able to find a suitable replacement for that.

He's not too far off an England call-up for me. We're so light in centre mid.

Spurs only sweep in when other clubs are interested, would they loan him back to Leeds?

Mainoo, Wharton, Bellingham, Alexander Arnold, Rice, Eze, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott all get picked ahead of him correctly

Throw in Gallagher, who Southgate will die on a hill on also

Well Southgate will be gone in a few weeks.

All I said is I think he'll get a call up soon. Not sure why you have such an issue with that.

Well I do, you're a massive weirdo of course.

I'll ignore that bit just because there is generally no point.

There are other young midfielders who have plenty more pedegree so far than Gray, even someone like Lewis Miley, Tommy Doyle, (our Tim) have been cutting there teeth with Premier League minutes.

Having said that, someone like Wharton has benefited from not going straight into the PL and jumped ahead of a lot the lads i mentioned, so there is no reason Gray can't..........but there is a lot of competition
